The inventor of the Himplant® implant, Dr. James J. Elist has been spearheading the outstanding service that Himplant® has to offer since 2004. Dr. James J. Elist has been in private practice in Beverly Hills, California since 1982, where he specializes in impotency, male sexual dysfunction, and penis enlargement, and is highly regarded as one of the top urologists in the area. He offers the Himplant® procedure in his Beverly Hills clinic.

Dr. Elist has served as the chairperson and a member of several committees at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and other hospitals, including the Oncology Committee, Ethics Committee, Utilization Committee, and Medical Records Review Committee. Internationally, Dr. Elist has performed surgery and trained surgeons in the Middle East and Europe.

Nationally, Dr. Elist is the first surgeon in the Los Angeles area to perform procedures involving penile prosthesis devices manufactured by American Medical Systems. Los Angeles Magazine designated Dr. Elist as “The Best Urologist” in Los Angeles in July 1998. The Office of Hearings & Appeals elected him to be a United States Government Medical Expert Witness in 1997, 1999, 2001, and 2003. Dr. Elist has received the National Leadership Award and has been elected Honorary Co-Chairman of the Physician Advisory Board of the United States Congress.
