The Himplant is not suitable for everyone. To be considered as a candidate, patients must meet certain requirements.
Firstly, the patient must be of the requisite age and be circumcised before receiving the Himplant.
Patients who have previously opted for other methods of penile enhancement typically are not eligible, as their penile skin might have been compromised due to the introduction of foreign materials. Even if the prior procedure took place several years ago, the penis may not fully revert to its original state. Remnants of the foreign materials may persist, adhering to the inner lining of the penile tissue.
Additionally, even after the removal of a foreign body, the placement of the Himplant is generally not recommended. The implant may not settle properly within the shaft, and the skin may not adequately heal around the Himplant. Such situations place patients in a higher risk category for complications and infection.
Candidates must also be in good general health to undergo anesthesia safely.
A crucial part of the preparation involves abstinence from tobacco and illicit drugs for a minimum of 30 days leading up to the procedure, with continued abstinence for at least three months post-operation.
Realistic expectations about what the Himplant can provide are a prerequisite. While the Himplant can boost your confidence, it should not be viewed as a panacea for other underlying issues. You must comply with all pre and post-operative instructions.
